This project is romantic and biographical. As I consider romanticism today it is when "it suddenly became visible to all the ends of the world" (Gogol, "Horrible Revenge"). We see widely and a lot, but these are multiple realities, it is a maze, and we are free to wander endlessly in it.
Daniel Libeskind: "Reality is arranged in a complex way. It is a labyrinth of ideas. A labyrinth of experiences, dark and light."
The theme of the self-portrait is related to the biography and the theme of the family: the fabrics belong to my late grandmother, which had been stored in old closed suitcases for decades, and were found by me recently.
